Nick Brand is a multiline insurance agent at Kalamazoo Insurance, where he takes care of his clients’ insurance needs and makes the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

Nick believes in constant growth and improvement, which is why his favorite Kalamazoo Insurance core values are “Improve daily” and “Dream big.” To him, these values go hand-in-hand—setting big goals motivates him to improve every day, and continuous improvement is what drives him to achieve those goals.

When working with clients, Nick’s approach is all about respect and education. He believes in taking the time to explain the different aspects of insurance, helping clients understand exactly what they’re getting and why it’s important. His goal is to make sure clients feel confident in their choices and know they’re covered when it matters most.

Nick’s favorite part of the insurance industry is problem-solving for clients. Whether it’s answering questions, finding the right coverage, or navigating the finer details of a policy, Nick enjoys the challenge of finding solutions that work for each individual.

For Nick, the most important thing people should know when it comes to choosing insurance is that it’s not about the price tag—it’s about the value of the coverage you get. “It’s not about the check you write, it’s about the checks you cash on the day you need it most,” he says. Finding the right coverage and a trustworthy agent is key.

Outside of work, Nick is an avid football fan—something he’s been passionate about since he was a kid. He could talk about the sport all day, whether it’s watching games or discussing plays. Nick has also moved across the country twice, which has given him a unique perspective and a great appreciation for new experiences.

Currently licensed in Property and Casualty, Nick is also working on obtaining his Life and Health license to better serve his clients’ diverse needs.
